Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance as required Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met Implement and follow personalised care plans in collaboration with the wider care team Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment Support clients with medication reminders in accordance with prescribed instructions Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines

Skills

Driving licence is desirable for roles involving home care visits Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans effectively Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication with clients and team members Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and records Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals Organised approach to managing tasks efficiently while prioritising client needs
