District Home Care

is a privately owned domiciliary agency providing day and live in care services in and around the Woking area. We are recognised as one of the top home care providers for Surrey.

Due to our consistent positive client feedback and referrals, we are currently seeking community based care staff.

What we do

. District Home Care support our clients in the safest, person-centred way with personal care, assistance with medication, promoting and encouraging independence, whilst respecting our clients dignity and always maintaining their privacy and wellbeing.

What are we offering.

We are offering full time guaranteed hours.

We expect our staff to cover at least two evenings a week and commit to alternative weekends as part of your regular roster. 15.00 per hour full shift compensation Enhanced 1.5 rate for Bank holidays Double pay rates for Christmas day Paid training 28 days annual leave pro-rata of hours worked Career development fully funded QCF L2 & L3. Paid enhanced DBS check. Automatic Pension Enrolment / employer matched contributions Employee assistance programme (EAP) 24-hour confidential access.

Duties include, but not limited to

.

Personal care / bathing/ dressing Transfers and hoisting may be required. Supporting clients in and out of bed Incontinence/toileting/catheter care Medication support Light meal preparation / serving / feeding. Light housework/laundry Companionship/welfare visits

All about you

.

You are reliable and able to commit to a couple of evenings a week and alternative weekends. You can start duty from 7am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm You are sincere about bringing value as well as being valued as a care giver and you are happy to visit clients living in their own homes in and around the Woking area. You have excellent communication skills verbal and written You are confident making responsible decisions and always work in a person-centred way You have an exceptional can do - will do attitude You have excellent hygiene and of smart appearance
Ideally you have a minimum of one year experience within the adult health & social care sector.

Car owner driver essential for this position due to location of clients not always being on public transport routes
