Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and flexible Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in care home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a positive and supportive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and assisting at meal times. Follow individual care plans to ensure that each client's specific needs are met. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel. Support clients in social activities and encourage their independence while providing companionship. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes. Empathy and patience when dealing with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, days and weekends.
