Job Description

We are looking for committed Care Assistant to join our EMI Nursing Home to support elderly clients, who have a range of care needs.

We have vacancies for a care assistants working shifts between the hours of 8am and 8pm or 8pm and 8am with a requirement for some internal rotation.

Our Care Assistants need to have a caring nature, are flexible and are able to work well within a team as well as on their own initiative.

The responsibility of our care assistants:

Maintain our high standards of care according to service users individualised care plans Provide care and support in maintaining the independence of our service users Assist to carry out activities of daily living and supporting service users when required with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing and all other aspects of daily living Answering call bell systems and assisting as required. Answering the door and telephone and passing messages on promptly. Ensure that service users are treated with privacy, dignity and respect at all times. Undertaking domestic and laundry duties accordingly.
Experience and Benefits:

Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided Registered with Social Care Wales or working towards this NVQ Level 2 in Care is essential for registration, however new starters without this qualification will be supported to work towards this qualification Opportunity to further progress through NVQ levels 5.6 weeks holiday per year pro-rata

Pay: From 12.60 per hour
