Sutherlands is one of two care homes owned by East Anglia Care Homes Ltd. It is a family business and is run like a family business with all the attention and care on hand.

Sutherlands provides nursing care, residential care and NHS Continuing Healthcare.

Working as a Care Assistant you will work as part of the overall care team to ensure residents' care needs are met. As a Care Assistant, you will create a welcoming, supportive and stimulating environment and have the opportunity to build relationships with both residents and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering a high quality of care. You will be an example of what good care is. Make timely record of care you have provided. Make timely record of observations you make whilst providing care. Contribute to maintenance of a clean and smart environment that is pleasant for everyone that comes to, work in and live in the home. Communicating professionally and warmly with visitors, family members and other health care professionals Promoting the Home in a professional manner and raise awareness of the Home within the local community. Punctual for the start of your shift, professional in appearance and wearing the correct uniform. Be reliable and dependable.

Experience of working as a care assistant will be an advantage but is not essential.
