Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own home and those receiving home care services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans Support clients with mobility and movement around their home or care facility Help with meal preparation and feeding as required Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care Support clients with medication reminders if trained and authorised to do so Use IT systems to update care records and communicate relevant information

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel between locations or home visits Good command of English, both written and spoken, is essential for effective communication Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and communication purposes Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
