Care Workers Wanted in Pudsey LS28 & Bramley, Rodley, Swinnow, LS13 & Armley LS12

Full & part time hours available to suit.

12.50 per hour (+ mileage for drivers.)

Ethicare are recruiting for experienced community care assistants.

We require experienced care workers who are professional, kind-hearted & caring, who are committed to caring in the community in Pudsey, LS28, Bramley, Rodley & Swinnow, LS13 & Armley LS12.

We support a variety of vulnerable adults, young people & children with individual care needs, always maintaining dignity, respect and promoting independence.

Personal Care:

Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

Meal Preparation:

Preparing meals and snacks and assisting with eating and drinking.

Household Tasks:

Cleaning the home, washing clothes, shopping, and running errands.

Medication Support:

Reminding and/or assisting with medication.

Mobility Assistance:

Supporting with mobility issues, transfers, and use of assistive devices.

Social Support:

Providing companionship, encouraging social activities, and assisting with communication.

Communication:

Reporting progress, concerns, and observations to our Assistant Manager & Home Care Manager.

Documentation:

Keeping records of tasks completed, observations, and medication administration.

Emergency Assistance:

Providing assistance in case of emergencies.

Promoting Independence:

Encouraging client independence and preventing isolation.

Accompanying to appointments:

doctors', dentists & hospital appointments.

Shifts available:

7am - 2pm shift (Breakfast & Lunch Calls). &/or 4pm - 9.30pm shift (Tea & Bed Calls).
We require our Carers to be flexible and able to work alternate weekend, with a day off during the week to ensure good continuity of care to our service users.

Car Drivers preferred

However, if you do not have your own car, we will endeavour to find local work for you, but you must be prepared to travel on public transport to your care calls.
