We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant/s to join our team around HU12 villages. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals within their home care settings, ensuring they receive high-quality personal care and assistance. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by providing respectful and attentive support tailored to each individual's needs.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility and meal prep. Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity. Follow personalised care plans to deliver appropriate care tailored to individual requirements. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour. Assist with light domestic tasks. Support clients with medication administration. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery. Support clients with their shopping and keeping their home clean. Taking clients out on social calls.

Qualifications

Previous experience working within domiciliary care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Valid driving licence is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and respond appropriately. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
