We are currently seeking a Senior Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team.
About the Role:
As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will take a leadership role within the care team and support management with various responsibilities. This includes:
Leading and mentoring care staff
Supporting doctors' visits and on-call requirements
Conducting staff supervisions and training
Supporting and mentoring new team members
Safe and accurate administration of medication (up-to-date medication training required)
You will also deliver high-quality personal care to residents, promoting their independence and wellbeing. This includes:
Assisting with personal care
Supporting nutritional needs
Recording care delivery accurately
Participating in activities and social engagement
Helping with personal errands and day-to-day support
Shifts Available
8:00am - 2:00pm
2:00pm - 8:00pm
8:00am - 8:00pm
Alternate weekend working is required.
Requirements
To be considered for this senior role, you must have:
An appropriate level NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and social care setting
Up-to-date medication training and administration knowledge
A compassionate, motivated, and reliable approach to care
Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00-13.70 per hour
