Role Overview - What You'll Do
Our Care Assistants are everyday heroes who make a lasting impact through simple acts of care and kindness. You'll support clients to live safely and independently in their homes, following personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs.
Your duties will include:
Providing personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and managing incontinence
Assisting with medication and ensuring accurate records are kept
Supporting daily living tasks, including meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping
Encouraging independence and participation in community and social activities
Promoting life skills and supporting clients to achieve their personal goals
Recording daily notes on activities, appointments, progress, and achievements
Qualifications & Requirements
Completion of mandatory care training (or willingness to undertake training)
Previous experience as a support worker or care assistant (preferred)
A compassionate and patient approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and commitment to providing high-quality care
