Job Description

The Bespoke Life is a fast-growing company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a

Companion

for Friday & weekends

. This role is vital in supporting our clients many of whom are aged 75+ and living with dementia by providing companionship, encouragement, and practical assistance to help them remain independent. Please note: this position does not involve personal care.

Responsibilities



Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a warm and positive environment. Assist with day-to-day living activities, including light meal preparation. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and overall well-being. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health, mood, or behaviour. Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a caring or support role (essential). Knowledge and understanding of Alzheimer's and dementia care. First Aid or Life Support certification (advantageous). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Full, valid driving licence (essential).
