Role Overview



We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and experienced

Care Coordinator

to join our growing team. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the effective delivery of care through excellent communication, scheduling, team coordination, and client support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Registered Care Manager, supporting care delivery operations, recruitment efforts, and client service development, while maintaining the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day client and caregiver communications, ensuring prompt and professional service. Schedule and coordinate care staff efficiently, allowing for appropriate care delivery and travel time. Respond to calls and queries, record all enquiries accurately, and follow up where necessary. Maintain up-to-date records of care assistants and clients in the care management system. Monitor and manage care assistant availability, holidays, sickness, and absence records. Conduct regular reviews and supervision of care staff in the field. Match caregivers to clients effectively based on care needs, location, and staff availability. Support new staff recruitment, onboarding, and documentation in coordination with the Registered Manager. Assist with client reassessments and care plan updates. Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities to grow services in the local area. Maintain compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and care regulations. Participate in the out-of-hours on-call service (1 in every 3 weeks).

What We're Looking For



Minimum of

3 years' experience in home care

, with experience as a

Care Coordinator

,

Field Supervisor

, or similar role.

Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care

(or willingness to work towards this qualification). Excellent organisational, administrative, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using care management software and MS Office Suite Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, client-focused approach. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Full UK driving licence and access to a car

(Class 1 business insurance required). Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
