Responsibilities
You will work with the Service Manager to ensure the effective day to day running of our Care at Home Service by devising plans and establishing close contact and assessments with staff and service users.
Key Skills
A good understanding of the process and service delivery in a care at home setting
Shift management
Experience of working with staff scheduling/rota systems.
The ability to effectively manage relationships with Local Authorities, Healthcare professionals, Service Users and families
The ability to lead and motivate a team
Good verbal and written communication
What to expect...
You will work closely with other personnel within the company to ensure that the right staff resources are allocated effectively, in order to meet the planned needs of our service users.
You will be responsible for the data integrity of the schedules within the rostering/ monitoring systems.
You will have good communicate skills and effectively liase at all levels taking into account the variety of complex and sensitive nature of the job
You will work Office hours Monday - Friday with additional on-call assistance.
On-call duties based on a rotational pattern.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a PVG Scheme Membership and to be registered with the SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) within the first 6 months
You must be qualified to SVQ 3 or above or willing to work towards it.
Driver's license and access to own vehicle is essential.
