Down Community Care have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional to take up a coordination role at our Ardglass Office covering selected areas across Co Down.

The purpose of this role is to assist the Registered manager to oversee our Domiciliary Care services.

Please note there is an on-call requirement for this post, which attracts additional payments to your basic salary. This is an ideal opportunity to become part of a progressive, supportive and quality oriented organisation and to take an active role in shaping the service.

Key Responsibilities:



Ensure that Care Worker records are processed and maintained in a timely manner.

Ensure training records are updated and Supervisions scheduled at the correct time.

Providing insight into developing, implementing and executing a successful operational practice across the Care side of the business.

Responsible for resourcing for new care packages and building on existing packages.

Improving and maintaining the continuity of care for new and existing care packages.

Maintain clear, accurate, appropriate and up-to-date digital records for all Clients and Care Workers within your area.

Responsible for cordially resolving customer queries in a timely manner within your area to maintain a positive Company reputation

Ensure all operations are RQIA Compliant

? To support and manage a team of Care Workers

?To develop detailed work schedules/rotas for the Care Workers and providing both written and verbal instructions for guidance

Duties include:



To Coordinate and Management a Team of Care Workers and Clients Rota Management/ using an electronic Rota management system Exceptional organisational skills to support a fast-paced environment Participate in out of hours on call support on a Rota basis Facilitate staff supervisions and Appraisals Hold planned and emergency staff meetings Complete Risk Assessments for Staff and Service Users Completing regular staff spot and observation checks Excellent knowledge of RQIA compliance and maintaining this at the highest level Completing Service User Reviews and Service checks Problem Solving Providing shift cover when required

Qualifications and Experience:



Level 3 or above Health and Social care diploma*

At least 1 year of experience working in a managerial role in a care setting

2 years or more experience working as a Care/Support Worker

A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
