We are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to join our office team for a period of 5 months, to provide maternity cover. As we are growing, other opportunities may arise during the period of this contract, including a possible extension and perhaps even a permanent position.

As a Care Coordinator for Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife, you will manage the daily communications and care scheduling for our busy service. You must be extremely personable as you will be working with the entire team to make sure all our valued Clients needs are met at all times. This role is extremely fast-paced and requires someone truly dedicated and able to remain positive and professional when working under pressure. We cover Dundee City, South Angus and North Fife. Local area knowledge is therefore highly desirable.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Produce consistent, fortnightly rosters and provide Care Assistant and Clients with schedules in a timely manner
Be accountable to the Registered Manager for the smooth running of day-to-day Client/ Care Assistant communications
Ensure excellent regulatory compliance across the business and support the service in achieving a minimum Very Good rating with the Care Inspectorate.
Implement efficient scheduling of sustainable runs for Clients, Care Assistants and the Business,
Consistently apply company policies, procedures and approved practice
Answer telephone calls, emails and other messages promptly and professionally, dealing appropriately with any queries or feedback
Handle, record and communicate potential client enquiries promptly and accurately with sufficient details to support Business growth
Record and communicate, to all relevant parties, changes to Client requirements or Care Assistant availability.
Effectively manage Care Assistant expectations by maintaining clear lines of communication at all times and building a strong and positive working relationship.
Report weekly on recruitment needs, gaps in rotas, risks, Care Assistant availability and concerns
Identify and match the most suitable Care Assistants for each package
Accurately monitor and record Care Assistant holiday, sickness and absences.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous Domiciliary Care experience - Essential
. Use of an electronic Scheduling / Care management system - Essential
. Experience in a customer service setting, building up relationships - Desirable
. SVQ3 in social care or equivalent - Desirable
Skills and Attributes:
Has the desire to make a real difference and always strives for continual improvement
Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
Good computer skills including proficient use of MS Office, the ability to produce reports and good computer systems knowledge
Self-motivated and flexible, with a willingness to participate in an on-call system for out of office hours and client care visits when required
Extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability with high attention to detail
Ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships
Strong administration skills and ability to manage multiple work loads

Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and have access to own vehicle.
