We are seeking an organised, proactive, and experienced Care Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in care who is looking to step into a leadership and coordination role.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and coordinate care services and scheduling to ensure clients receive timely, appropriate support.
Collaborate with and support Team Leaders and the Management Team to deliver excellent service.
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting care assistants.
Engage in business development activities to foster the company's commercial growth.
Ensure that all documentation (client & caregiver) is current, accurate, and compliant with CQC standards.
Support the operation of the out-of-hours on-call service as required.
Participate in care calls in case of emergency.
Maintain strong communication with clients, families, and staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection policies at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the care sector, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or coordinating role preferred.
Previous office experience within the care sector.
Excellent IT skills, including use of care management software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
Flexible and reliable - able to work on-call and occasionally cover care calls at short notice.
A caring and professional attitude, with commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Benefits
Salary: 25,000 - 27,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Additional payments for out-of-hours/on-call cover.
