Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
Handle patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting necessary information and documentation.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Assist with billing procedures and insurance verification as needed.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow within the clinic.
Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and maintaining office supplies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a GP practice is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using office software and medical management systems is advantageous.
A compassionate approach towards patient care and a commitment to maintaining professionalism at all times.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
