We have an exciting new job opportunity for
Care Coordinator
based within our busy
Hillsea Office
, the position will be working in the office and report directly to the registered manager. As one of the Care Coordinator you will be
responsible for the Portsmouth & surrounding areas
, this is a great opportunity to join a fast growing, independent and locally based company.
You must have previous Care Coordinating experience
in a home care setting and be a highly organised individual, who can work effectively under pressure and on your own initiative as well as
part of a busy team
. You will be supporting both carers and customers in this role, ensuring calls a covered and care is provided to the highest standard.
You should be computer literate with MS Office and experience with Care Line Live would be an advantage, but not essential.
The Care Coordinator is a
critical part of the team
, and you should have great interpersonal skills and be able to convey information and establish relationships at all levels and be able manage your time effectively all while
remaining compassionate and caring
at all times, this is a crucial skill to possess along with a
positive can do attitude
.
As a Care Coordinator
some of your core duties will include
supporting carers and customer with day-to-day care enquiries, managing the schedules, ensuring you are up to date on availability for new and existing customers and ensuring carers are rostered correctly. Updating Care plans where required and meeting with carers and customers and you would be part of the on-call rota.

Annual Visitors parking permit
Mileage allowance - 30p per mile

Must have Care Coordinator experience in a home care setting
You must be at least 18 years of age

Flexibility to cover care visits as required both in/out of hours (some times at short notice)
