We are looking for a
Care Coordinator / Senior Care Lead
to join our team -- someone who is just as confident in the office as they are delivering care in the community.
The Role:
This is a
hybrid role
, combining
care delivery
with
office-based coordination duties
. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our care service, ensuring both clients and carers receive the support they need.
You'll be involved in rotas, onboarding, medication audits, staff training, client activities, and more -- while also working shifts where needed, so you stay connected to the care you coordinate.
Key Responsibilities:
Care Duties:
Deliver personal, dignified, and responsive care to clients with complex needs.
Administer medication and carry out clinical tasks when trained (e.g., PEG)
Build strong, professional relationships with clients.
Monitor client well-being and report any concerns.
Coordination / Office Duties:
Create and manage staff rotas, responding to sickness or changes.
Support with staff onboarding, induction, and sign-off on competencies.
Carry out medication and care documentation audits.
Organise meaningful activities for clients and encourage engagement.
Be a key point of contact for carers, supporting with day-to-day queries and guidance.
Maintain accurate records and communicate with health professionals as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience in complex care (PEG, epilepsy, catheter care, etc.).
Confident working independently and leading small teams.
Strong understanding of safe practice, safeguarding, and CQC standards.
Comfortable using care systems, writing reports, and managing rotas.
Full UK driving licence (Desirable)
Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings/weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15.00-15.50 per hour
