Grace 24/7 Care has achieved considerable growth over several years and now provides care and support each week to people who are vulnerable in the Community. We are looking for a Junior Care Co-ordinator, who will be accountable, by example, within a team setting, to promote the good name of Grace 24/7 Care, providing and achieving the highest standard of quality care. To share responsibility for monitoring and supervising staff and service users, preparing rotas, and providing a smooth and efficient service. Promote Dignity in Care, Safeguard Adults and promote good infection control standards.
The Role
Reporting to the Registered Manager and Care coordinators to promote a high-quality service which promotes independence and choice to our service users, enabling them to reach the optimum level of independence whilst living in their own homes.
To manage and provide relevant support to the care staff team in the community.
Responsibilities:
-Undertake new start assessments in the community
-Ensure customer reviews are up to date and undertaken in a timely manner, highlighting any issues, complaints and working to find a resolution.
-Working in the recruitment department, undertaking candidate interviews, and collecting documentation to ensure staff files are compliant
- Coordination department to ensure rosters are forward planned and all shifts are covered two weeks in advance
-Actively managing the rota daily, responding to any staff absence, unforeseen circumstances, and customer preferences
-Working in partnership with Carers and Customers to ensure person centred care schedules are provided
-Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
-Maintaining accurate and up-to-date communication records
-Ensuring staff files remain complaint and training is up to date
-Carrying out Electronic Care Monitoring audits and feeding back to Carers
Compliance with the "Health and Social Care Act" (desired)

To Learn and comply with all Policies of the Organisation, as appropriate.
To provide written reports of all complaints, accidents, incidents and untoward events in accordance with written Policies.
To ensure that the day-to-day Care Services are operated in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and current statutory regulation guidance on best practice.
To conform to the Company Code of Professional Conduct in relation to the operation of the Care at Home Service.
To participate in Staff Appraisals, supervisions, Spot checks, Team and Quality Management Review Meetings as directed by the Registered Manager.
To engage with and positively undertake on call duties as required by the branch to ensure a 24/7 service is provided.
Requirement:
Full Clean Driving Licence
