We are residential care home that provide care for 41 male resident. We specialise in alcohol related brain injury and/or mental health conditions. Our care home has been Investors in People organisation since 2009. The home was awarded "Outstanding" in all areas by the CQC in August 2019.
To be considered for this amazing position we would like you to:

Have experience of working in a non-domestic catering environment including cleaning schedules, preferably in a care home

Have a good health record with a clean and tidy appearance
Can work unsupervised and use your own initiative
The candidate's general duties will include:
Preparing and cooking the menu meals to the required standard. Assisting with all aspects of the catering services, including cleaning tasks, food preparation and stock control
To complete all kitchen records accurately, to ensure that temperature checks on the fridges and freezers, bain-marie and delivery temperatures are carried out at specified times and recorded.
To contribute to the achievement of the House's standards for catering and housekeeping to ensure the effective operation of the kitchen
Supporting and helping the residents and communicate any concerns to the line manager
Assisting in the economic use of the materials
Can commit to working weekdays and alternate weekends
