We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of senior care, particularly in areas such as dementia care. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facility while fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of each resident. Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance on clinical practices and care delivery. Ensure that all staff are trained and competent in their roles, promoting continuous professional development. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the facility. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to enhance the quality of care provided. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Manage budgets effectively while ensuring that resources are used efficiently to maintain quality care.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or nursing home setting. Strong knowledge of dementia care practices and senior care regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care delivery. A compassionate approach to caregiving with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents. Relevant nursing qualifications or experience is desirable but not mandatory.
