Introduction:

Recruit by Nature is supporting a small, well-established Learning Disability care service in Dover to recruit an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure outstanding standards of care, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring a safe, well-organised, and person-centred environment. Support, mentor and develop the staff team to deliver high-quality care. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality frameworks. Build strong relationships with families, external professionals, and the wider community. Oversee care planning, audits, rota management and general operational duties.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, Deputy Manager or similar leadership role. Background in Learning Disabilities, Supported Living or Residential Care. Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills. NVQ Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferred.
