About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced

Care Home Manager

to lead a flagship nursing home in Partington, Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated leader to drive excellence in care, ensure high-quality resident support, and maintain full occupancy. You will provide strong leadership, motivate and support staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards including CQC requirements.

You will be fully supported by Operations and Central teams, alongside an in-house Deputy Manager, Administrator, Housekeeping teams, and a Regional Hospitality Manager to maintain smooth operations.

About the Home:


The home provides care for up to 62 residents, offering 24-hour nursing, dementia, and residential care. All bedrooms feature en-suite facilities with a combination of homely comfort and hotel-quality standards. Facilities include a family room and cafe area. Care plans are personalised to residents' histories, interests, and needs.

Reports To:

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:



Provide leadership and direction to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy. Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and maintains excellent standards of care. Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs controlled. Develop and implement marketing plans to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services.

Skills and Attributes:



Previous experience managing a nursing home. Strong knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record in compliance. Confident communicator with excellent leadership skills. Commercially astute with a focus on occupancy and growth opportunities.

Education and Qualifications:



Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
