We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a care home specialising with in elderly care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of resident care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team within a supportive environment, ensuring residents receive personalised and respectful care.
Duties
Oversee the day-to-day running of the care home, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care
Supervise and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure professional standards are maintained
Administer medication in accordance with prescribed protocols and legal requirements
Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure residents' medical needs are met effectively
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards
Manage budgets, staffing rotas, and resource allocation efficiently
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff records, and regulatory reports
Qualifications
Proven experience in a care home environments, with a strong background in elderly care.
Demonstrable leadership and supervising experience within a care setting
Familiarity with care plans development and medication administration protocols
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills to liaise with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and staff
Relevant qualifications in healthcare management are highly desirable
Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering person-centred care that respects individual needs and preferences
