We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our small residential care home which is registered for 14 residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the care team to ensure the delivery of compassionate, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for residents.
Oversee medication administration in accordance with legal and organisational policies, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Manage day-to-day operations of the care home, including staffing schedules, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care delivery.
Ensure staff receive ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills in senior and dementia care.
Monitor quality standards through audits and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service provision.
Experience
Proven management experience within a care home or home care setting, preferably in assisted living in a care home or nursing home environments.
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience in senior or dementia care settings.
Knowledge of care regulations, compliance standards, and best practices related to elderly and specialised dementia care.
Experience in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs, including medication administration protocols.
Familiarity with managing teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of resident safety and satisfaction.
