Your Role as Care Manager at Tanglewood
In this influential and rewarding role, you will help shape the highest standard of care by:
Expert medication management - safely administering, recording and auditing medications with confidence.
Collaborating with external professionals - including GPs, district nurses, pharmacists and social care teams, ensuring seamless care for residents.
Delivering exceptional personal care - always with dignity, respect and a personalised approach.
Reviewing, updating and developing care plans - ensuring they reflect each resident's evolving needs and preferences.
Leading and inspiring the care team - providing guidance, support and motivation to uphold best practice.
To ensure the employees of the Care Home receive appropriate induction, training and support to fulfil the obligations of their job description
To assist the Register Manager in the completion of all compliance audits
Monitor and control sickness and absence in line with Company policy
Assist the Registered Manager with formal supervision/appraisal of staff members and on-going informal assessments of the work of staff members

Care Manager 9am to 5pm
Monday - Friday
You will bring:
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care - essential
Previous management/supervisory experience within a residential or nursing home
Strong leadership, communication and teamwork skills
A professional, positive and proactive approach to care
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
To participate as duty on call as necessary
To ensure adequate staff cover Commitment to achieving the Leadership and Management Award (Level 5)
Able to manage matters of personnel
To participate on calls as necessary (non-clinical)
To ensure adequate staff cover
