As a Receptionist/Care Navigator you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive the right care, in the right place at the right time. Working within a busy GP Practice you will support the clinical teams by managing patients enquiries, signposting to appropriate services, and performing key reception and administrative duties. Greet patients in person, by phone and online Book, amend and cancel appointments on clinical system (EMIS Web) Assess the patients need and sign-post to the most appropriate healthcare professional Manage registrations including new and temporary patients Maintain patients Medical Records Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence Clerical support such as data entry, scanning, filing and raising referrals Relay test results or information to patients when required Ensure the the smooth running of the Practice by providing any clerical support as required
