Job Description

Perton Manor is a 50-bed nursing home in the heart of Perton and we are currently recruiting for Care Practitioners.

You will join a growing social care business, tailoring care to people living with dementia and other mental health/complex needs. Care will be delivered to residents who may display vocal behaviours and/or physical behaviours which challenge the service, as well as residents with general nursing needs. At times it can be a challenging environment, so a positive attitude, compassion and resilience are important. Full training and induction will be given prior to starting employment.

Daily duties include:

Delivery of personal care Assistance with nutrition and hydration Recording of information related to client care Partaking in activities to keep clients stimulated and reinforce a positive sense of wellbeing Supporting with 1:1 duties to minimise falls risk or adverse response and to help with stimulation Supporting clients to go on daily walks within the garden/trips into the community Reporting any changes to clients needs to senior roles to ensure that clients are getting individualised care

We provide extensive training courses and there are numerous career development opportunities. Some of our care staff have worked their way up to become Home Managers or members of Senior Management. More recently, we have sponsored our care staff to undertake their nursing training.

We provide pay scales within each position so the better you are the more you can earn.

Banks holiday rate is paid at double time.
