Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes or care homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Deliver personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel. Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive to client locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or care home settings is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A valid driving licence is essential for this role, along with access to a reliable vehicle. Proficient IT skills for documentation and reporting tasks. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
