We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality care within our care home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that residents receive personalised care plans tailored to their individual needs. This role requires effective communication and the ability to supervise staff while maintaining a supportive environment for both residents and team members. Level 3 NVQ is essential.
Duties
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, ensuring they meet their specific needs and preferences.
Supervise and support care staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills in delivering exceptional care.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Drive initiatives that promote resident well-being and quality of life within the care home setting.
Maintain accurate records using IT systems to track resident progress and care delivery.
Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional development among staff members.
Qualifications
Previous experience in senior care or a similar role within a care home setting is essential.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to care management is desirable.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
