As a Care Supervisor at Lime House, you will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred respite care. You will promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing for residents while overseeing care staff and ensuring the smooth running of the home. In the absence of the Registered Manager, you will assume full responsibility for the service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support care staff in delivering daily personal care
Ensure residents' individual needs and choices are respected
Administer medication and manage health appointments
Lead shift planning and staff deployment
Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and fire safety standards
Liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies
Participate in care planning, reviews, and resident admissions/discharges
Support training and development of junior staff
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and equality policies
The Successful Applicant:
A successful applicant will have experience in delivering and supervising care within a residential or respite setting.
You'll need strong leadership skills, the ability to work independently, and a compassionate, person-centred approach.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the confidence to liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies.
You should also have a good understanding of medication management, safeguarding, and health and safety practices.
An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required, or the willingness to undertaken
