Rate of pay:

38,000 per annum

Hours:

37 hours per week

About the role

We are looking for someone with experience of managing and developing an effective staff team. Could you be the right person to help us expand and develop our crucial Care Support At Home Service so that we can support many more older people? You will efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the business, allocating resources and monitoring performance in order to deliver a high-quality service to clients in their own homes.

This role will manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely.

The Manager will ensure all emergency on-call issues are dealt with effectively and also ensure there are sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff allocated to meet service needs at all times. This senior role will carry out appraisals and monitoring of staff performance, and implement agreed policy and procedures to manage absence, disciplinary, capability and grievance.

About you

We need someone with an excellent understanding of the principles of high quality person-centred care and support and non-discriminatory care practice. You must have a good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to domiciliary care services.

We also require a minimum four years senior management experience in a relevant field, and experience of care services, risk assessment and person-centred care and support.
