We have an opening for you to join us as a Care & Support Manager in our Croft Community in Malton. You will be a member of the Croft Community management team reporting to the Registered Manager and managing the Service Managers, to lead, manage and develop the community locally. You will also have responsibilities for houses offsite i.e., across Malton, for our workshops, including the garden, and for the management of the Kingfisher cafe.

Role requirements:

You will have Leadership in Health and Social Care level 5 or equivalent or be willing to work towards this. A professional qualification - nursing or social work, is desirable. Knowledge of adult Social Care sector (services for people with learning disabilities, autism and or mental ill health): including the legal context, regulators and commissioners' expectations and funding streams. People management skills that include coaching and developing staff. Knowledge of budgetary management. Understanding of quality assurance processes and evidencing outcomes/standards Knowledge of safeguarding and liaising with other professionals, assessment, matching and analytical skills, equalities, and involvement. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent IT skills - good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and excel spreadsheets. Participation in out of hours duty management.
