We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes or receiving home care services. We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide support in the main areas we work in. Billingshurst, Wisborough Green, Loxwood, Ifold, Plaistow.
Working Pattern - (including every other Saturday and Sunday long days)
14 per hour - weekday
14.50 per hour - weekends
Time and a half on bank holidays
Paid mileage at 45p per mile (shopping visits, Assisting clients out in the community)
1.70 visit allowance (paid per call)

Responsibilities
Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring their needs and preferences are met effectively
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing
Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care
Ensure the safety and comfort of clients at all times, following health and safety guidelines
Assist with light domestic tasks within the care environment, including cleaning and organising personal spaces
Skills
Driving licence is essential
Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues
Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to delivering person-centred care
Organised approach to managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
