Join Our Team: Part-Time Support Worker for a Music-Loving Young Man!
We're looking for a warm, energetic and compassionate Support Worker to build a genuine, person-centred connection with an amazing young man who lives for music, gigs, theme parks and good company.
About the Role
This is a
part-time position
that will be job-shared between two Support Workers, giving you a great work-life balance while making a huge difference.
You'll be a key part of his support team, helping him live life to the full with consistent, encouraging and caring support.
Every day is different, but you can expect to:
Support him to and from college
Help with light household tasks - meal prep, laundry and looking after his therapy dog and two cheeky guinea pigs
Join exciting outings: DJ lessons, cinema trips, theatre shows, theme park thrills and more
Share the joy of music - spinning vinyl, strumming guitar, discovering new artists or just chilling to a great playlist
Offer friendly chat, gentle motivation and reassurance when needed
Shift Pattern
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
7:45am - 3:30pm and 5:45pm - 10:15pm (split shift)
2 Saturdays per month
7:40am - 12:30pm
These hours will be shared equally between the two post-holders, creating a predictable and sustainable rota.
About You
Experience supporting individuals with Autism or other Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential
We'd love to hear from you if you are:

- Comfortable around pets (therapy dog + guinea pigs)
