Job Title: Care & Support Worker Summary: Provide compassionate care and support to individuals, enabling them to live independently and with dignity in their own homes or supported accommodation. Key Responsibilities: - Assist service users with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks. - Promote independence and choice for individuals within their care plans. - Support with mobility, preparing meals, and household duties. - Maintain accurate records and reports on service user progress. - Build positive relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals. - Respond to emergencies and safeguard service user wellbeing. - Uphold confidentiality and respect at all times. - Follow company policies, procedures, and all relevant care standards. Required Qualifications: - Experience in a care or support role (paid or voluntary). - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. - Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety practices. - Right to work in the UK. - Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check. - Commitment to promoting equality and diversity. Nice-to-have: Relevant care-related NVQ/QCF qualification or equivalent.
