Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated FEMALE Support Worker and car driver(mandatory) to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The role involves supporting patients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing, and fostering a comfortable and respectful environment. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring specialised care, including elderly individuals, those with dementia or Alzheimer's, and patients in hospice or palliative care. Applicants should possess a genuine caring attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering person-centred support.

Responsibilities



Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments Support medication administration in accordance with healthcare plans and protocols Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies to promote mental wellbeing Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment Support patients during medical appointments or outings by driving or accompanying them as required Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly Implement first aid procedures when necessary and ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times

Skills



Experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is highly desirable Knowledge of patient care techniques, including dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable individuals Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when assisting with mobility or transfers Competence in medication administration following prescribed instructions Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams First aid certification is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided if required Valid driving licence for supporting outings or medical appointments as needed Organisation skills for meal preparation and managing multiple care tasks efficiently
