Positions Available:

Part-time contracted 09.00-15.00 (Over a 2-week rota: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; followed by Wed, Thu, Fri)

Role Overview: EMCAS Care Support Worker

As a Care Support Worker, you will deliver exceptional care in the homes of our service users, following their personalised care plans to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care (washing, shaving, bathing, dental, assistance with dressing, and toilet needs). Assist with and administer medications according to care plans. Support meal preparation, eating, and hydration, including recording fluid and nutrition as needed. Ensure safe moving and handling of service users around their homes. Perform household chores (changing linen, emptying bins, washing dishes) to maintain a hygienic living environment. Engage service users in stimulating conversation and encourage daily activities for mental engagement. Support Care Workers or Senior Carers when additional assistance is needed. Record all care activities using the CareBerry App. Report any safeguarding concerns to the Duty On-Call as per EMCAS policy. Adhere to EMCAS policies and procedures and operate within the scope of your role.
