Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need with mental health issues in a residential setting . Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing Provide patient care with empathy and respect, fostering a supportive environment. Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with challenging behaviours. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Offer emotional support to clients and their families. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in first aid and other relevant areas.

Requirements

Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices. Experience in behaviour management techniques Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are crucial.
