We are seeking an enthusiastic, keen and reliable person, to work as a Team Leader at our home. Drumconner Care Home has a fantastic reputation in the area and we have a wonderful team to support our residents. The shift pattern runs from 7:45-20:00 and alternate weekend working is expected.

We are registered for 35 residents and we support those who require residential and nursing care.

We are registered for any persons over the age of 18 who may require support with activities of daily living.

We are located on Poole Road in Westbourne not far from Bournemouth town centre. We are on a direct bus route into both Bournemouth and Poole. We also have on-site parking available.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our day and night team. The candidate should have an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and be working in a similar position or as a Senior Health Care Assistant.

The candidate will need to be able to lead a group of carers each shift and maximise the teams potential to ensure that our residents have the highest level of care. The candidate will also need to have management skills and problem solve during their shift. It will also involve people management such as meetings, supervisions, appraisals etc.

Full training will be provided. Medication training will be given - as well as knowledge on clinical items such as syringe drivers, catheters, wound care, care planning etc.

This is a full-time position for days.
