We are now recruiting an experienced
Care Team Leader
to join our care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for providing outstanding care in a modern, purpose-built home.
About the Role
As a
Care Team Leader
, you will:
Lead and support a team of Care Assistants to deliver person-centred, high-quality care.
Oversee care plans, daily routines, and keyworker systems to ensure residents' individual needs are met.
Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider management team to maintain best practices.
Support your team through mentoring, supervision, and training to encourage professional growth.
Use dementia care approaches such as validation techniques, life story work, and behaviour support to reduce distress and enhance wellbeing.
Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and compliance with care standards.
This role is hands-on, meaning you'll also take part in care shifts when needed and play an active role in creating a calm, engaging, and supportive environment for residents and staff alike.
What We're Looking For
Experience leading care team in a care home setting (essential)
NVQ Level 3 (or higher)
in Health & Social Care (essential)
Extensive experience in dementia care (essential)
Excellent communication, organisation, and team leadership skills
Confident using electronic care planning and medication systems
A compassionate, person-centred approach with a strong understanding of dementia and its impact
