The position requires you to oversee and coordinate the care team during shifts, provide leadership, training, and supervision, and act as the main point of contact for any issues that arise in the absence of the home manager.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the care team, ensuring effective handovers, providing guidance, and being a positive role model.
Manage rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels and appropriate skill mix.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the home management team, addressing concerns promptly.
Conduct and lead team meetings, providing feedback and support to staff.
Oversee medication management, including the receipt and administration of medications.
Experience and Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Significant experience in a similar setting, with a solid understanding of dementia and elderly care.
Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and appraising staff.
Knowledge of medication management and adherence to safety protocols.
