Care Team Leader Maternity Cover

Fixed Term - 9 months, 21 hours per week




Day shift: 14.00 - 20.00




We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Team Leader to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality care and support to residents living with dementia. This maternity cover role involves leading a team of care staff, ensuring person-centred care is delivered in line with individual care plans, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:




Lead and supervise care staff, promoting best practices in dementia care. Administer medication Coordinate daily care routines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Support residents with personal care, emotional wellbeing, and social engagement. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and management to ensure continuity of care. Monitor and update care documentation accurately and promptly. Champion dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.

Requirements:




NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Proven experience in dementia care and team leadership. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs
