Foxholes is a residential care home set in 18 acres of serene and peaceful Hitchin countryside surrounded by grazing horses and an abundance of wildlife. Our staff work in a comfortable environment with purpose built facilities.

We are looking for a reliable Night Care Team Leader to work as part of an efficient team and to contribute to the smooth running of the Home.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF NIGHT TEAM LEADER ROLE:

Providing leadership and management to the care staff team and being in charge of the day to day running and management of the unit

Formulating care plans for residents and reviewing care plans on a monthly basis

Ensuring the provision of health care arrangements which may include ordering, recording and where appropriate the administration of prescribed medication

Ensuring that all service users have a good stock of medication throughout the monthly cycle and chase for further supplies if needed

Must be available for alternate weekend work, normal shift patterns are 3 x 12 hour shifts (8pm to 8am) per week (overtime is available)

REQUIREMENTS OF NIGHT TEAM LEADER ROLE:

Three years' experience of working in a care setting with vulnerable people

Hold an NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care

Demonstrate good leadership

You will also be required to undergo training as part of working in a Care Home
