08:00 - 16:00, 4 days one week and 3 days the following week, this includes alternative weekend work with overtime available.

What We're Looking For:



We are looking for a Team Leader to join our dedicated team in South Tyneside. This role is central to the smooth running of our service, providing leadership, coordination, and support to staff while ensuring high-quality care for the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:



Act as the first point of contact for staff, families, and commissioners during working hours. Coordinate staff rotas to maintain safe and effective staffing levels. Respond to operational issues and emergencies, escalating when necessary. Provide staff supervision, appraisals, and performance reviews. Mentor and coach team members in person-centred and trauma-informed approaches. Represent Cura Care in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, case conferences, and commissioner reviews. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding regulations, and legal requirements. Promote and embed the 7 Keys to Citizenship in daily practice. Contribute to audits, service reviews, and improvement plans.

About You



Essential:



Previous leadership experience in a social care setting Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice and personality disorders Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills Confidence in rota management and crisis response Understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding A commitment to Cura Care UK's values and mission

Desirable:



Level 3 (or above) Health & Social Care qualification Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
