Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and promoting independence. Candidates with experience in dementia care, Alzheimer's care, hospice care, and senior care are highly desirable. Responsibilities

Provide personalised patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility Support with medication administration following prescribed protocols Assist with meal preparation and feeding for clients requiring nutritional support Engage in behaviour management techniques to support individuals with dementia or behavioural challenges Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed, maintaining safe driving practices Monitor and report on patients' health status and any changes in behaviour or condition Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with organisational policies Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment Implement first aid procedures when necessary to ensure patient safety Offer emotional support and companionship to promote wellbeing and dignity

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, and senior care best practices is advantageous Experience with medication administration and basic first aid certification is desirable Proven caregiving skills including patient care, behaviour management, and heavy lifting where applicable Valid driving licence for transporting clients safely to appointments or outings Experience in childcare or other caregiving roles will be considered beneficial
This role requires a caring attitude, organisational skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Successful candidates will be committed to providing respectful and compassionate support tailored to individual needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
