Job Summary


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of support to ensure their wellbeing and safety. This role involves delivering high-quality care to service users, particularly in a supported living settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those with specific health challenges, including dementia, austism, learning disability and mental health.

Duties



Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support service users with mobility. Assist with daily living activities and ensure a safe environment for clients. Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies with appropriate care. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.

Skills



Previous experience in patient care, senior care, or hospice care is highly desirable. Knowledge of dementia care practices is an advantage. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families. Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges. Basic first aid certification is beneficial. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients. Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential qualities for success in this role.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: 28,000.00-38,000.00 per year
