Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, particularly in assisted living and home care settings. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of clients, and promoting their overall well-being. The Care Worker will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with varying needs.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Assist clients with mobility and daily activities to ensure their safety and comfort. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed.

Skills

Strong understanding of patient care principles, particularly in senior care settings. Experience in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Ability to work effectively in assisted living or nursing home environments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach towards clients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining client records. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
