A typical day might include:

Taking a moment to brighten someone's day with a chat

Helping someone feel comfortable and confident with personal care

Keeping bedrooms and communal spaces clean and homely

Encouraging someone to join in a game, a walk or a favourite routine


This role is 6 hours per shift, with a combination of early and back shifts, including weekends. We work on a three-week rolling rota, giving you every third weekend off.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
